Let me explain what’s so great about making apps. First, imagine this:
You wake up in the morning feeling completely refreshed and roll out of bed. An open window bathes you in sunlight.
You walk over to the kitchen and switch on the coffee machine. The aroma of freshly ground beans invades your nostrils as you turn on your computer. An email tells you how much money you earned overnight. It’s a little more than you expected but you can live with that.
At last the coffee is brewed and a lounger on the terrace beckons. Relaxing in the warm sunshine your mind drifts back a few years when you first set everything up. A mild chill goes up your spine as you think:
“What if I had never taken that step…?”
That thought stays in the back of your mind as you sip the coffee. At 9am you message an assistant with two tasks designd to take your business to the next level. Relaxation infuses into your brain once more and that question, “What if I had never?….” slowly drifts out of existence.
Back to reality
The reality is that most of us cannot appreciate simple yet incredibly fulfilling routines like enjoying the morning sunshine. Sitting and thinking in complete peace is one of the most important parts of the day for any man. Billionaires will tell you it’s the number one thing they do for achieving success.
However your morning routine probably involves hitting snooze on the alarm, rushing to get ready for work and running out the door to sit in traffic for an hour.
No morning coffee in the sunshine.
No careful, deliberate thought.
No overnight income.
Have I just described your day in some way? The bad news is that you’re are not alone. Billions are in the same situation every day. In fact so was I a few years ago, but not any more.
However, it gets worse! That job you work every day is not as secure as you might think. There are hundreds if not thousands who can do what you do. Taking into account that you can be fired almost at a whim for the smallest infraction then something doesn’t add up. I’m willing to bet that you’re here because you sense this in your gut and want to do something about it!
“What would you give to change your life? To have personal and financial security?”
First, here’s my story. How I went from hand to mouth living to a penthouse overlooking the ocean.
After graduation I worked a regular job for 5 years. It was boring and the whole time I was restless. Eventually it got to me and I did something really stupid – I started a PhD. For 4 years I worked my a** off. And I got paid peanuts.
I looked at my prospects after a PhD and guess what? More work for a few more PEANUTS.
I knew there had to be a better way to make money.
Why was I dragging myself out of bed for these peanuts?
Why was my dedication not recognised via massive yearly pay rises?
Was I doomed to do this for the next 40 years?
After a grueling 4 years of PhD I started writing up my thesis, after which I would be plunged into the world of “real” work.
A fear overcame me unlike any other I’d ever experienced. What if this never changes?
I was afraid of being stuck in job for 40 years, living paycheck to paycheck.
That fear continuously beat me down, which was a good thing. You see, there’s only so much a man can take before he changes and I remember my change like yesterday. Sitting in my lounge, rain pouring down outside and this tremendous feeling of iron resolve set in. It was so sudden but it it was real and had only one goal:
Don’t Accept the System.
I started to educate myself. Not in PhD terms but in real life terms. I went through all my career options, accountancy, law and so many more. They all had tons of applicants for each job opening though and I didn’t want to grovel to get in. Then I discovered this wasn’t the case for programmers. They also got paid a lot of money. In fact 3 times that of a PhD graduate. They were respected because they had a skill that not many others did – they could make anything they imagined.
My mind was made up so I began to learn programming. All whilst writing my thesis.
It was insane. Wake up at 6am. 3 hours of programming. 6 hours of thesis. 4 hours of programming. Dinner. Bed. Repeat.
When I felt my skills were good enough I started bidding on freelance jobs for apps. Eventually I got my first paying client. A whole $300 for a demo app.
Words cannot describe my elation when I received that money.
I knew this was it. I had the beginnings of a better way.
Fast forward just one month and I found myself in an incredible position:
Option 1: 2 app contracts waiting to be signed at an average hourly rate of $60. That’s $9,600 per month.
Option 2: A PhD thesis that needed a last push before the deadline.
The thing was….I couldn’t do both. There simply wasn’t enough time.
I did the unthinkable in many peoples eyes (and my mothers). I quit the PhD.
But I wasn’t being rash. I’d weighed the options and decided to become a full time freelancer. It’s not a tough choice when the salary is triple that of a PhD graduate.
As it turns out, that was the best choice I have ever made.
Now I have complete freedom over my time and can live anywhere in the world I please. In fact I do. That image right at the start of this page? That’s the view from my penthouse apartment. No, I’m not ultra rich (yet) but I have enough income to retire now if I wished. In fact I’m looking at Caribbean property as a relatively safe investment for my money.
And this success is all because of that one decision I took years ago.
If you’re still here then I’m going to assume that this lifestyle is something that you want too. However I want to be up front with you. You can learn everything I teach for free on the internet. That’s a fact because it’s what I did. There were precious few online training courses when I started!
But have you thought about how long that would take? Perhaps a few years of horrendous trial and error?
Wouldn’t you prefer to shortcut the process and learn from someone that’s already made all the mistakes?
Saving time is of the utmost importance to you because the app developer market is growing faster than supply. That’s why developers get 6 figure salaries. There simply aren’t enough of them to go around! It’s also why freelancers can charge around $8,000 – $15,000 per month.
Learning on Your Own has a Very Large Missed Opportunity Cost
Becoming an app developer also gives you the power to start your own business and you don’t even have to hire expensive developers because you already have the development knowledge you need!
So do you want to be a part of this growing trend? Whether it’s salaried, freelancing or via your own business you’re at the right place. The Complete iOS Developer, Freelancer and Entrepreneur Course has one goal:
Turn you into a lean, mean app making machine.
But I must ask 2 things of you first:
1) Make a commitment to improving your life
If you can say YES to the above then you’re in the right place and ready to join.
Want to know more? I will teach you everything you need to know about
These are all technical subjects but I never use jargon. Everything is explained in plain language so you never become confused.
All too often I see other trainers confusing their students by using fancy language. Not me. You’ll always get it straight.
Once you can make iOS apps then you’ll receive training on one or all of these areas:
Obtaining a 6 figure salary
Becoming a freelancer
Creating your own app business
Whichever route you want to go down I’ve got you covered. You can even change between career paths as you wish.
Here are the finer details of the course for the detail oriented among you:
– How to code apps (and anything else, coding skills are incredibly transferable to other languages)
– How to design apps
– This is an epic module. You will design, code and release your first app on the app store. Myself and my team will help you when you get stuck to ensure that you reach this landmark goal.
